Thread: Factories not giving XP if not near by ???
Anybody have any experience with the way factory XP works ?
I started a "make" run which world have netted me 6k xp, during this "make" cycle, I ran deleivery missions.
Of course, before I left the factory site, I checked XP coming in.
Once I wasaway in a different town, I noticed XP had stopped, so I ran back to the factory and as I got near, I had a couple hundred XPpop up.
I concluded that you had to be near the factory for the XP to show up, no biggie, get it when I get back, off to do missions now.
Once I got back to the factory, XP never appeared, I did get email saying the the "make" run completed with 100 items made.
Lost something on the order of 4200 xp ..well, it hasnt showed up yet.
you have to be within 150m of the factory to get the exp, which is better then what was mentioned as the solution in beta.
in beta the proposed that the exp would be 10% of the exp given to making the same item by hand.
so if your going to use a factory, drop it near where you plan on doing some sampling.
150m of the factory in conjunction with reduced xp because blasters, final make, I only receive 60xp while if I make em by hand, I get 115 xp (that use to be 170 xp till recently).
Sounds like the shaft coming and going.
