Lot's of discussion on supply / demand pricing issues on other threads. If you are a dedicated artisan you know these issues already so no rehash. Have ideas i would like to submit to the community for feedback and observations. These will help increase demand for artisan's primary products and I believe are sensible additions to the game mechanics.

Weapons should have a percentage chance of breaking, melt down, etc. Perhaps based on a damage/durability ratio so that High Damage/Low Durability Weapons would have a relatively high chance of a critical failure and be unrepairably broken.

Armor should have a similar damage component. Certain weapons against certain armor types should have a chance of destroying the piece of armor (special attacks increasing the chance) i.e. a helm which sustains a blast from a powerful weapon and a head shot would have a chance of being unrepairably broken. A light saber should have a relatively high probability of damaging armor.

Clothes should have a chance of being torn while performing and or sustaining certain attacks. Also certain movements should have an increased chance of tearing clothing. Dancer performs flourish 7 "oh crap i tore my dress " Sampling wears the knees out of those work pants, etc.

These ideas obviously need fleshed out but I hope they are well recieved.
