Thread: Malebility, ect what does it mean?
the only stat i understand is overall quality. i know it effects your initial success rate, and experimentation points.. what the heck do the other stats do? mainly conductivity and malibility? does anyone know? really need this explained to me, as i dont know what to look for in materials, havent found any guides that explain this, help!

For instance, a CDEF Rifle, Pistol, or Carbiner uses mostly conductivity and overall quality. If you use materials that have really high conductivity and overall quality, you will see a higher initial experimentation and if you are using a specific crafting tool at a crafting station then you will see that your experimentation has a higher chance of success.
In real life, Malleability is a materials ability to be stretched and worked without breaking. Gold is highly Malleable.
actually, you are completely right, but that is only half of it...
not only do the experimentation percentages determine the level of initial experiementation, but they also determine the starting attributes. So the CDEF is 50% conductivity and 50% overall quality. I made a CDEF with two metals now. with one metal at 338/450 My damage came out to 18-38. Not bad. With another metal at 989/678 that same weapon came out with base stats of 21-42. So just by using a better metal I gained about 4 points of damage, as well as a slight increase in the other attributes.
The quality of the relevant stats also seems to affect either directly or indirectly the chance of greater success and the number of experiementation points given. Using one metal I never got under great success on the pistols and was running almost 75/25% between great/amazing. Even more I usually got 2-4 more epxerimentation points using that metal with a great success over the lesser metal with a great succes...
