As a scout/surveyor I have been keeping a number of artisans supplied with everything from hides to steel, but, I also find that a lot of my time is spent running from place to place to make drops or dropping by the bazaar to offload stuff.

I had considered setting up a vendor in my place so as to have one place to sell off goods and materials. Outside of having to get my business skills up high enogh to have a vendor what else is needed? Anything? What about cost per day for the vendor? Does it vary depending on the vendor?

Costs for vendor depends on the total cost of the items inside the vendor. The exception to this is NPC vendors... but don't expect that to last forever, since it seems to be a bug.

Based on what formula?

If I have 100K of items in the vendor, how much is my cost? I usually sell materials in 2k-10k units, but if having them in a vendor is overly pricey, it may not be worth it as a sideline.
