I think I'm in the Artisan Slumps..... I am having a hard time deciding whether I should get a Mon Calamari or Human for my Artisan > Merchant / Architect / Droid Engineer. Also, I'm not sure whether I should master Artisan or not... HeLp???

You might consider reading my post below about being an artisanon to weather or not you want to master artisan. It tells you about what being an (artisan) is about.

As to what to be to be a DE/Architect. I don't have any recommendations one way or the other. Neither Mon Cal Nor humans have bonuses for DE and architecture is just a matter of having the schematics, skill doesn't matter in the long run (experimentation has no effect on buildings).

If you decide to go Empirial I highly highly recommend going human because non humans take a huge hit for getting faction related stuff. If you're mon Calimari though you get bonus for mind, so if you go rebel, the mind helps a lot.

Personally I don't recommend mastering Artisan if you're picking up 2 advanced artisan skills. You will need some combat skill so you can clear spawns near your harvesters and housing. Having a little scout for a while is nice also (Read EXPLORATION)
