Thread: Not able to find specific resources listed on mineral survey tool

I'm a real newbie when it comes to surveying so heres a question that I've got:
I'm looking around on the bazaar on tat, and find a few resources that are selling well, so I was wanting to try and find them, but I open up my survey tool, and they aren't listed. Will the survey list of materials change on each planet I'm on? Will it also change when new resources are spawned?

They're either old and despawned, or avaliable only on other planets.
It changes to some degree on each planet (some things don't spawn on all planets, or not all at the same time). And it will change when the new resources spawn (and the old ones despawn)

sometimes a resources are only in certain areas on the planet as well. what may be active outside Theed, Naboo may not be active in Moenia, Naboo. The device will come up saying resource not located. Best thing to do is to survey for a type of resource, sample it, see what the quality is, and go from there. You can also use outside websites to find out what is current on a certain planet on your server. Those are not always up to date, however, so a combo of both will work also.

My problem lately has been that I am sampling a resource one minute, stand up to rest and when I start again there is no resource. It is like the stuff despawned while I stood there. Very Weird!!
