Actually, SWGCraft does tell you everything you need to know.You just need toset some time aside andget familiar with the links there. I'd point you to the resource usage link first as it shows what schematics each type of resource is used in and what stats are important.

If your not sure what resource is used in a certain weapon, go toWS on the skill tree link drop down, find the box where the item you're interested in is listed, click it and it will display exactly what resources are used in it plus what stats matter.

Weapons *generally* use high SR resources.

SWGcraft.com is a valuable asset to crafters. It gives you the stats of the resources available on your server, a resource counter to let you know what combinations will work the best, and it also has a listing of schematic requirements for most of the craftable items in the game. This sight alone will answer all the questions you've just asked.

I have just got done with artisan ( 4-0-0-4 ). Now I can move into DE and WS, but I have a question about resources. I don't want to put out a bad product and I think that buying resources from someone else is just not good for profit. So now I'm trying to figer out how and where are the best resources for what I need to make. I know that there is SWGCraft.com, but that tells me nothing. If there are six types of steel which is best over all for just weapons? or does it not matter? just as long as it has the good stats? also what stats make the best diffences when making thinks like weapons or Droids.
