This problem has been happening since the animations were fixed on harvesters. When a resource has shifted I still see the harvester as working. Also when you go to "OPERATE" it has it running at 0%. As soon as you close that screen it will turn off. BUt from there you can hit off or switch to another resource and start it without reloading the operate screen once.
This is happening to me on Bloodfin

I can one-up you on this.
Ever since they fixed animations, I've had some harvesters that remain operating when I bring up the Operate Machinery window, though I have ZERO power in my harvester. I've sat for a couple hours and watched the harvester continue to operate without power, so long as I keep that Operate window up. Once I close the Operate window and reopen it, the harvester is shut off and no additional resources go in the hopper. Then I need to deposit power to get it started again - but I throw in 3000 power and it says power is at 2999. If you redeed while power is at "-1" the deed still just says power is at 0. Go figure.

acually its not a real big deal, even though they are animating they are not mining. I dont think they will contiue to operate acually pull up resources under 0 power, but will if the maintance is below 0 for a short time. its just an animation bug ohh well just click alt 2 times and it resets and aucally stops, you cant turn it off from the menu or back on with out resting it, but alt 2 times is easy : )

I have had that as well. Your right so let it go to 0 and just dont look at it
Its not the same as the old negative power issue either from beginning of game.
I would bet these two things are connected

There's all sorts of wierd permutations here. Independent things, like harvesters, kinda have a quasi-existance when the player isn't near.
If we can collect more details about some of these odd behaviors, I'll take 'em forward.
Remember to /bug anything odd in game. It adds punch to my appeals and gives them something to track.

A friend of mine did Retrieve Resources on all 6 of his harvesters. He said he probably retrieved about 200k of steel. Then he redeeded the harvesters (which we all know can't be done unless the harvester is empty). Opened his inventory - NO STEEL, but had each and every harvester deed. He's just getting started in mining, so this was really the last thing he needed - a totally wasted run to collect some steel.
Needless to say, he was not happy. Not at all. In fact, he was very angry.

Two things in that case one is to open a CSR ticket and to include the name of the steel. So if it was SciGuruRaas Kirrium Steel the CSR can see it was there and then replace the 200k of it.
The other thing is a quick disconnect/reconnect. Sometimes things are there but you cant see them and resynching with the game fixes its.
Guru,
Its still happening but it doesnt happen with all resources. I need to make a list of which resources it does this with. But after a shift my harvesters still think they are going at 0% and you can't hit STOP without closing the structure screen off and on

Guru,
I've had the same problem, harv still going when resource is at 0%. I have to open the 'Operate Machinery' window twice, once to retrieve the resources, second to change resources and to switch back on.
Never had any problems with re-deeding tho.
