Hey all,

As we're about to get JTL'd, I figured we'd have a lot of questions, comments, and such. To help everyone, let's try to focus JTL items in this thread. This will help folks looking for answers, as it'll likely be here, plus make it easier to do FAQs and such.

Thanks!
Guru

First! Muhahaha

In relation to JTL going live, get ready for a whole mess of EMM / EGP sales for those of you that do that. The DE's are gonna be swamped with AstroMech droid orders (I'm already beyond what I can make) and there are likely to be several looking for an additional source of these. 1000 run factories (with the serial number in the name... that's important - like "Electronic Memory Module [98strk6y]") will likely sell very well if you can get it advertised.

To show that it's a case of identical bits which can be dropped into an Equipment Factory for a production run or droids or droid parts

Simplicity. Sure, you can look at the item details and tell which crates all come from the same batch, but if it's in the item name then all you have to do is sort by name and every crate from the same batch will be centrally located.

Though I'm far from running a huge amount of sales of these crates, I started doing it for personal use .

Well I was struggling whether to post my subject here or should I start a new thread. Well I chose this one.

My main concern right now are those new Flash Speeders. They who pre-ordered JTL got it and I saw so many of them flying around earlier today. The thing is, everytime it gets disabled, you can get a new one just using a command /flashspeeder (or something like that)only for 20k and it creates a new one to your datapad.

THIS has a major effect on my swoop sales because from now on, people will only use the flashspeeder and not bother buying any other vehicles since (from what ive heard) it has unlimited uses and it only costs 20k to create a new one. I know I would if I wouldve had the chance to pre-order it. Just wanted to say this and raise some conversation.

I don't think people will really be using these much after the novelty wears off. They are SLOOOOW.

'flash' yeah, I don't think so.

Man I wish I'd had the foresight to run a few more Vehicle Customization Kits... could have sold them hand over fist... People were actually asking for them!

I raced a swoop in mine. Same speed, even uphill. It just looks slower because of the cockpit view.

FYI, of 3 accts between my wife and I... only our mains got the Flash. The crafter gets to keep making her own. It's principle of the matter.

<Light bulb goes on over Barbo's head> Wow that is a great idea! I wish I'd thought of that a long time ago. Sifting through crates of components is a pain. 5 stars for you!

Since this is the official JtL thread for Artisan... here is my gripe.

Why is it that, as a Master Artisan, I cannot use Artisan Experimentation to experiment on the AllPurpose Ship Repair kit? Yes yes, I understand if you say "because it's for ships and Shipwrights know more about ships than Master Artisans". But they moved it to the Master Artisan skill box to please us but we cannot actually make a decent kit becausewe cannot experiment on it unless we have Shipwright experimentation points. It's catch 22. I mean, if that's the case move it back to the dang Shipwright tree.
