Thread: Why don't vehicles stay repaired?
Okay, I hunted and searched on this board and haven't found the answer, so I'll just ask it:
What's the point of having a vehicle repaired if all of the repairs are gone the next time you call it from the datapad? Is there some trick to having a repair be permanent? Or is there something about the vehicle concept itself I'm not understanding?
Thanks
Vehicles decay with use just like everything else. You have to constantly maintain them or they go bye-bye.
Hey Jmatt,
Artisans did this intentionally. All the vehicles that we make for Weaponsmiths and Armorsmiths do this.
This is just our way to get even.
Seriously,
Seems to be a bug that popped up today. Devs are aware.

When you get to the garage, try to store your vehicle. It may stay out and available for use, but ignore that for the time being. Go to your datapad, and Generate Vehicle again. A new copy of your vehicle will appear, which you should now repair.
This has been working for me. In addition, it tends to store itself less often after this procedure.
EVERY time you repair your vehicle be sure to store it, call it, and then store it again after repairing it (tho the final step may be optional).
