Typically it's 1 credit per unit in bulk. So if the power is 500 or under PE that's 1 credit per resource. If the power has 750 PE it's 1.5 credits per resource.

I only sell at 1cr/unit of Energy on any excess radioactive I may have harvested in the past month. With radioactive that means working with the Potential Energy (PE) of the radioactive to determine the actual Energy value of the resource. Just so you know, the equation is: PE/500 = Energy per Unit.

For example, Ireuv a Type 3 Radioactive has a potential energy of 716. 716/500 = 1.432. That means if you want to sell this resource for 1cr/Energy you can either put 1000 units up for1432 credits or put 2095 (always round up) units up for 3000 credits.

PE is the energy rating. 500 and under is one unit of power for one unit of whatever is being used for energy. 1000 would be 2 units of energy for 1 unit of whatever. I have a BER 13 and a BER 24 fusion and just harvested over 200k of PE 954 radioactive, when i sell it its usually 1 cpu.

Asking how much you should charge someone for power is tricky. If you took your car in for repair and the mechanic came out and asked you how much you wanted to pay, would you price it high or low.

I'm not an artisan, but I have sold radioactive for 2-3 credits per unit and haven't had much trouble. In large quantities (25K-100K) I will sell for 2cpu more than 3cpu. But on average, if I put some up on the bazaar I will sell 1000 units for 3000cr.

But as always, it depends on the demand. I've noticed some cities on my server are poor for selling. Theed and Coronet are the best places to sell on Tarquinas that I have found. Your server may vary.

Just as everything, supply and demand.

You wanna make money int he resource biz, you gotta know your resources..

If you can get class 6-7 radioactive with 957 PE Like I got, you hold on to it... Consider it a long term investment.

Sure when a resource is active and anyone can dig for it you can get away with selling it for 2cpu for High Quality and bulk... But you hold on to the rares, and the exceptional resources for a dry cycle.

Ive seen linksteel Aluminum selling in upwards of 8 cpu... 8!!! And people were buying it... Same with Green diamond... Of course now it showing up in various degrees of qualities....

My point is.. get the good stuff and sleep on it.

Lot of people think you can get a couple personal harvesters and in a day start a resource business. Took me 4 months to get it all perfect. I still find days where Im sold out.... But patience and knowing your resources.

Question: How profitable is the energy harvesting buisness?
