Hi everybody. I just would like to know if there's a diference to craft near a Public Craft or a Private one. If so, and if I should buy a private one, is it really important the rating of the station or does not worth the price. Thank you for your help. Espirito

Some items require a private station.

Private stations have variable qualities (which apparently effects the chances for failure) determined by the material from which they are made and the skill of the crafter, no idea if the public ones have qualities thought

the more complex the item is determines what kind of station you need. By the time you hit master you will need a personal station for some items.

As for quality, no one can prove that quality matters one way or the other. If you read a lot of the crafting profession boards there were statistical analysis done on experiments ofsome of the different stations and there was I think 1% difference between a + and - rated station. I personally cant tell the differance some days are good some day are bad. On top of that the debate has been around for some time now and the devs wont say whats up with it.

In terms ofprice I have found personal stations on the bazaar for 2k-3k with ratings ranging from -34 to +4. A lot of the people selling the really high quality personal home stations charge anywhere from 20k-100k+. I would guess maybe someday quality will matter and the better the rating the better your chances for that amazing success.

Driod Engineers can also make crafting stations and put them in driods (I use my driod with a built in station everyday).
