Ok. Someone may have asked this already...somewhere but I';m too darn lazy to look so here goes:
I have a learned schematic for that corvette. If I surrender Master Artisan. Then relearn Master Artisan, Will I still have the schematic when I open a crafting session?

I have a learned looted schematic that requires Master Tailor. If I surrender Master, then go back and re-master. Will I retain the schematic?

Actually, when I dropped Master Tailor (to hand it over to my alt), the schematics I hadn't made yet remained in my datapad. So I think I can still make them, even though I've dropped all artisan...

In theory yes... but why surrender it and then go through the trouble of re-learning it?

I need the points to make BE tissues. Make those and I put myself back together again.

Thanks. Not actually giving up Tailor, wanting to surrender Master Artisan to make BE tissues. Same idea though.

I'm not positive, but I thought I saw somewhere that the skill validation is only checked when you "learn" from the scroll. This puts the schematic into your draft schematics list, and stays there even if you drop the skill required to learn the schematic.
My vague memory was that someone reported this with a crafter's apron, they were Master Tailor, learned the schematic, didn't use all the uses and it was still listed after dropping MT.
So you might even still have the schematic without re-grinding Master Artisan.
