Thread: Power up crafting question
I've been making power-ups since Beta (over 3,000 crates worth) and I have never found a way to do this. By single-stepping the experimentation, it increases dramatically the chance of getting 3, 4 and even 5 buffs while still allowing you to max out the percentage on the primary and secondary buff. The trade-off isthat it increases the chance that the experimentationwill alter what you end up with as a primary and secondary buff and I don't know that there is anything you can do to stop that short of experimenting with the maximumpoints allowed each time and giving up the chance of getting multiple buffs. The whole PU system is really a major pain in the backside and I'm now in the process of selling off my business to go do something else. Best of luck to you.

Thanks, I figured it would be a completely random mess, I wasn't sure if there was a workaround.
Thanks to everyone for the advice.

There is a post buried deep in the far reaches of the Artisan forum that details exactly this. It appears that the stats you get are directly based on the quality of the resource. I wish it was stickied, it was an excellent post to make sense of astupid crafting system.
That is a question I came here looking to get answered as well:
When crafting Power ups what stats on your resources are the ones that matter? Do Different types of metal (copper vs. steel vs. iron vs. aluminum and etc.) make a difference?
