Ok i don't mean to sound like a baby but I just spent the last 4-5 days gathering items i'd need to build a speederbike swoop. The resources i needed were 6400 ferrous metal and 1600 units non-ferrous metal. Thats 8000 units of metal in total and alot of sampling! I dunno about you but I was kinda expecting a huge crafting XP gain but when I finally made it I only got 2000 xp! No offense but for all that hard work 2000 xp for making a speeder is one of the biggest rip offs in this game. Needless to say I wasn't very pleased. Did any of you master artisans get more than 2k xp for making a speeder?

when did you craft this ? I have heard recently that there are issues with xp registering on your skill area and sometimes you have to log out and back in to see it update... I have not hand crafted any in a while but i'll craft one just to find out but i was always getting 2xresoures used = xp ... One other thing make sure you are not cap'd out in general crafting experience also

Swoops have always been 2000ish exp....it's just the way they are.
I crafted 16 or so 2 weeks ago, and i ended up with 32k exp.
Lower level items usually give around 1.5-2 exp per resource....so a speeder bike SHOULD be something like 12k-16k exp from that formula...but then you would only need to craft 2 to get to something like novice armour smith, or weapon smith. If all crafting followed the 1.5-2 exp per resource formula things likeguild hallswould give like 150k+ exp. You could master things like architect in 10 crafts...which hugely favours the rich holo grinders.
Note: why the hell did you sample the 8000+ resources?? drop a harvester! 10 4 ber harvesters will pull in 1500+ resources on a good deposit.
