Thread: Finding good Resources suggestions
Hello MarMar,
swgcraft.com gives information on what resources are available on each planet and server. The information is based on user submissions of what resources have shifted in or out. They also have stats (that can be sorted) so it saves you the trouble of having to sample each and every resource to find out which is the best one.
Ingame, you can use the survey droid. I haven't used it myself since it only tells you what resources are available on planets you use them on butwon't give you the stats of each resource. ![]()

go to swgcraft.com, as suggested above, look for metals (in your case) that have only been around for a couple of days. these should have the longest time left before they shift out, but also make a note of the names of other metals.
go into the game and open up your survey tool to get a list of the current metals. if any appear that you didnt note then you may have found one that has just shifted in and hasnt been logged with swgcraft, depending on its quality itmaybe be better to harvest this than the ones you wanted from the swgcraft site. i would also recommend that after finding a good spot and placing your harvesters you go back to the swgcraft site and add the resource (out of curtesy).
the harvesters you use will largly depend on your finances and your available lots. initially you can start with personnals, but as soon as you can afford it move up to mediums. heavies are ok if you are going to be a resource seller, or if you have limited lots. it maybe an idea to keep a couple of personnals though because it always seems to be that the 95% spot is in an area where only a personnal can be placed, if anything, and the nearest spot for a medium is down to around 60% or something.
Just a few suggestions, hope they help
