Thread: help with crafting xp

Hi there I'm obviously new to the doctor profession and I am having trouble getting a good amount of med xp. Does anyone have any tips on what to grind and/or a macro that can easily be used. Thanks in advanced.

Adv BEC is the way I got my first char to master. With my second I am doing it with Adv Chem. because I have a ton of herb meat from lvling on Piket. I would say go with the Adv BEC. The wheat and fiberplast are easy to get and yeild a good exp for the work.
Here is a link to a to a real good post on macro in pratice mode. It has made my second time to doc sooooooo much faster. I did the first one with no macro.

i know this has probably been answered before but i would like to know how do i gain crafting xp in, i just got novice artisian today and i been crafting weapons like crazy but never get any xp. any help would be very appriciated

There's a bug that's bothering some people where your xp display doesn't increase until you log off and back on. Have you checked your skill sheet, or are you just going by the xp monitor?
You should get general crafting xp making anything in the Artisan skill boxes, so CDEF pistols/rifles/carbines would be fine, but camps or traps from scout wouldn't (those give survival xp).

yeah i checked my skill sheet and still shows no xp gain. even when i just get done crafting an item it shows no xp gain at all, this does the same thing for me when i am crating camps for my scout profession. no matter what i craft i get no xp for it. i would really like to know what i am doing wrong or if its a bug. again any help would be very appriciated

Did you try logging off then logging back on in about 5 minutes? this happened to me a few times but relogging cleared it up for me and my xp suddenly appeared

i was crafting today grinding E 3 and E 4 i was crafting like crazy and it wasnt going up but wene i reloged i had enough exp to get E 4

Hello,
"Zoning" to another location via shuttle also updates my XP counters when they freeze.
