I've posted this at least 3 times and I've only gotten one response. Maybe if I actually post it in the forum for the profession that actually makes them more people may see it.
I see complaints about the vehicle repair bug every day. There is a very simple workaround I've been using for months that has worked for me every single time. I use it every time I repair and I have yet to have it fail.
When you hit the garage do these 3 simple steps and your bike will ALWAYS repair properly.
1. Store your bike before repair. Even if it doesn't properly store that's ok.
2. If your bike didn't store properly move to an open spot in the garage. Recall your bike. Wait for the initial decay tick then repair the bike.
3. Immediately store your bike again. It will properly store 100% of the time and the next time you call it the repairs will stick.
It's literally that simple.

Ill try it. I posted this bug in the Artisan bug list. Most annoying.
But im pretty sure I reproduced the exact same conditions you say when I initially tried to repair my bike. Maybe not Ill try it again. I think this should be adressed as decent priority. Much like the covert/declared bug this just seems like a bad case of client/server integrity checks.
