Thread: Aww my Wind Generator seems to be off the edge of the planetary map...

Yes it does sound stupid. Found a high wind spot (finally), placed the wind generator deed as close to myself as i could (about 50 meters away), it gets built, no problem.
But wait! There is an invisible wall in front of me and i can't get any closer than 40 meters to my Wind Generator. I look at the planetary map, and sure enough, i'm right on the edge. Wish i noticed that before. Haha ialways wondered what was at the edge of the world.
So now, not only I can't deposit power and maintenance, can't harvest my wind power, i can't even destroy the structure so now i am stuck with a dead lot!!! I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
Is there anything I can do about this, aside from generating a CST or waiting for the structure to be destroyed due to lack of maintenance?
No huge loss, but it's just annoying that things like this happen. Careful where you drop your deeds!

A CSR should be able to whack that structure for you. Make sure you submit the WP with the support request and tell them explicitly it's OK to destroy the deed if they have to in order to get the quickest response.

Have you tried targetting the win generator and typing /destroystructure ?
May not work since you can't get too close to it, but it may. Other than that, you have to file a ticket to a CSR. Sucks that it happened though, although it is kind of funny
