Bleh wouldn't let me post on my other comp. I just recently got done with the arti grind and picked up master arti when i noticed i didn't get the badge. I've been away from swg for awile and was wondering is there something i gota do to get the badge now? or is this a bug? thanks

oh does respecing mess it up? I didn't respec to master arti but i did use a respec like 1-3 days before i started the grind

There has been a known issue with receiving profession mastery badges while in your respec period, up to and including your respec token.

It's more than a known issue it's how it works. No badges learned whilre respec is an option so no one can accumulate profession badges.

Well, then I guess the "bug" was the fact that I was receiving badges on some toons during a respec period and not on others. /shrug

I tried getting a badge when I still had (only) my token respec left, and was not able to.

I'd say if you can type /respec and get it to come up, then you're probably not going to get the badge. I threw away my token respec by respec'ing to my same template. Then I was able to get the badge.

It is all about the respec. If you have pending respecs, no badges until they are gone, then you get the Badge.

However, pay attention to it when your respecs are done - If you don't get the badge and want it, Buzz a CSR in game.

I know several people that never got their badges after the respec process. (Also was hunted by a couple of BHs that didn't have Mastter BH, as they were glitched and didn't get their badge, but it works for them as you don't know they could be hanging around to kill you if you are Jedi.)

If you're in your respec period (even if you picked the "never" option, since you can restart a respec with /respec), profession badges are not awarded. From my understanding, you are supposed to get prof badges if you still have only your token respec left, but that's been buggy.

Once your respec period expires, you recieve all the badges for master boxes you have at that time. So if you keep Master Artisan until the end of your respec period (two or three weeks counting from the first login that character had afte the CU), you'll get the badge then.
