Mineral Survey device to find radioactive. There isn't always one in spawn.. so there may be times when there is none available. But Elissa is right.. do NOT sample it once you find it.. you will take damage from radiation poisoning or something.

What kind of damage do you take post-CU? I sampled it once pre-CU - and only once - and half my mindbar turned into wounds or somesuch. Not what I expected.

I sampled some low grade in May and just got Health damage from it. Sampled some GOOD stuff last night and saw some wounds as well.

You'll take health wounds from it, though if you have some doctor skills this won't faze you.
Survey with the mineral device; if you must, take one sample to get the stats, but be aware of the effect and don't take more than one sample (that's all you'll need to get your data anyway).

AFK Macro up your Survey tree on Radioactive. You'll come out with old-school vette wounds.

This is good stuff, nothing feels quite like pulling fresh radioactives from the ground!
