Thread: Question about resource selling....
I just finished reading the 10 selling items and noticed that power and resources was not big on anyones lists. I thought that steel was supposed to be hot, along with tat fiberplast.
If I want to sell resources, what is the best I should go for? Also how are the power brokers doing? I know not everyone uses the no power kits so is this viable anymore?
Thanks in advanced.
P.S. Artisian was the first profession I mastered way back when. Lol. Good to be back.
If you want my honest opinion -- post this on your trade forums. I'm not being snippy and saying this is the wrong place, just saying that would be the best place to get the information you need.
I can't tell you what sells on Bria, because I don't play there ![]()
If you hadn't noticed there is a thread here called the top 10 selling items. Should that not also be on specific trade forums, according to your logic, because item sells vary from server to server. Hmmmmm yet it remains on the proffession board. Wonder why?
The bottom line is, regardless of server, there are certain artisan items that sell better than others. My question specifically delt with power brokerage and resource selling. That applies to artisans across the board.
Some people spend more time looking for threads to flame/troll then actually helping. Kudos on adding to your post count.

Well if you knew me, you'd know I wasn't trolling or trying to up my post count.. I was offering my honest advice. If you re-read my post, I said I wasn't trying to be snippy and tell you this was the wrong place.. just telling you where *I* thought the best place to ask would be.
On Ahazi, people ask all the time on the trade forums..each one is different I suppose.

Been on these forums long enough to see the cloak and dagger flames. No one is stupid to blatantly flame and get banned. So they spruce it up. If you had really read my original post you would have seen how it fit. I believe you scanned it an wrote that response.
Once again Kudos again for another to your post count. Is there someone that can acutually answer my question without this egotistical d*** measuring constest and cloak-and-dagger-flames. Sheesh
actually.. what I am saying, and have been saying is that if you ask them.. you will know what they want to buy. I'm not stupid, I've been playing this game a long time. And if I wanted to boost my post count..then why is yours higher than mine and I've been registered longer than you..albiet only a few days.
You need to learn to take advice as it is, and not get all defensive and crap. If you ask buyers what they want to buy, you can find out what is NEEDED in the market. The markets are incredibly saturated onmost of the popular servers, if there is a hole.. you can step in and fill it, that is a good way to make a name for yourself, not to mention money. As I am assuming that is what you are wanting to do.
But in all honesty.. you probably won't get any advice, as you are being rude and accusing when it's not warrented *shrug*

You can ask us what WE sell and then compare with what your server needs or can offer.
Sigh.... thats all I have asked.
For starters, I'd suggest focusing on named WS, AS, and SW resources with high stats. Poke around those forums to see what items are in demand, then scour the schematics to see what resources you should be targeting, for both the components and finished products, and which stats are important. Stuff like irolunn reactive gas, dathomirian fiberplast, high grade polymetric radioactive.
When something with great stats does spawn, drop all your available harvs and mine the heck of out it. Depending on your business model, you could start selling your yield right away at bulk prices, or hold on until it's been dried up for a while, at which time you should able to command a higher price. Maybe a little of both.
When nothing great is currently in cycle, harvest these JTL resources: hardened arveshium steel, crystallized bicorbantium steel, fermionic siliclastic ore (there are others, but steel/ore always sells). JTL stuff commonly spawns in very high concentrations (often over 90%), can stay around for up to 21 or 22 days, and readily sells at 1.5 to 2 cpu for grind quality. Less redeeding and surveying and running around, and more profit for you.
Good luck!
Another nice aspect of the JTL resources is that they are each always present, on one planet or another, somewhere in the galaxy.
