whooooops, anyways
whats the deal with them. I add a 33% dmg PU to my hammer or melee weapon, and end up with around half that for the bonus to damage. Can someone please explain this system to me. Thanks

I can't remember off the top of my head: do damage PUs add to both the min and max damage, or just one?
I've noticed that ever since the CU, there's no more random damage. It seems that the damage you do is based off of the "average" weapon damage: ( min + max ) / 2. Then adjustments for special multipliers, target's defense, your accuracy and CLare calculated off of that. So if you have a 200 min / 500 max damage PH, it'd always start with 350 damage. Against a particular mob, the same attack with the same weapon will always do the same damage. If the powerup only increases one of those numbers (either one, doesn't matter), the actual damage increase will be 1/2 of the bonus.
I suspect this was originally done to remove the random factor to make CUbalance testing a bit more standardized. I wonder if it's going to get added back anytime soon, or if the devs just forgot about it.

They add to both, but as the previous post stated, the amount added to each is based on the minimum damage. For pistols, I almost wonder if a person wouldn't be better off adding a lot of accuracy (at least for PvP) since the min damage on a pistol is pretty low.

Damage pups work of min damage and add to both min and max.
33% damage pup added to a weapon with these stats: 400-1000
Would do 400x33%=132
400+132=532
1000+132=1132
giving new weapon stats of 532-1132.

Shhhhh.......dont tell anyone. Scopes and acc bonus on guns are broken
. Thereby rendering acc powerups worthless too.
