So, the force Surveying branche gives +20 Surveying...

But, we get +25 at Surveying 4... does that mean i could "simply" train the surveying, usea CA with a +5 skillmod and drop Surveying 4 without a decrease in surveying range?

Would free up a whole SP

As far as i know there is no known advantage of having more than +100 in Surveying, right?

No range increase but your chance of sampling goes up.. I have not tried the force survey but thought about it : )

Survey 4 + FS Survey 4 = 6x6 320 meter range. I'm not sure what point you get the extra range, or if FS adds a range bonus to survey 3. You do get better sampling odds and probably can sample on lower concentrations.

Not sure about survey skill mods, but the survey food will increase your range (depedning on what your level is. I dfid not get any increase at survey 1 but it gave me on survey 2 I think)
