These started dropping from Meatlumps outside Coronet lately. Lots of them. Funny thing is, even though it says it takes a Master Artisan, it only shows up in an Architects tool.... /doh

Not only do you need to use a furniture & structure crafting tool (apparently) to make these, they also appear to access architect skill levels when computing the probability of success/failure on assembly & experimentation -- which makes no sense at all to me. /shrug

you mean like all-purpose ship repair tool accesses shipwright skills? jesus tapdancing christ, when are they gonna get these right? /sigh It seems like something so simple that should never have made it out of the first round of qc, much less test center :-/ didn't anyone craft the stuff there? or did they just loot it?

I'm normally not this negative, but its irritating getting new stuff that's broken

Can anyone else confirm this?

Experimentation on the new looted schematics is Architect and not Artisan, that is.

I'm trying to test it myself, but my loot luck is bad.

I can confirm that both the streetlamp and the radio used Architect experimentation.

a few notes from tc..

streetlamp gives off a really cool color lighting for those that care

the radio reminded me more of the rebel radios from Hoth then the ones you have on your kitchen counter to listen to the morning traffic report with

as for experimentation as a architect / artisan I didn't catch any issue here if it is a problem, but they do use structure tools to craft

They also appear to give structure crafting xp.

I crafted one of the radios in the wee hours of the morning today and was surprised to learn that it used the generic crafting tool. It may also appear in the structure/furniture crafting tool, but if you look at the schematic in your datapad it tells you to use a generic crafting tool.

In any event, since these don't actually do anything I don't see experimentation as beingmuch of an issue. It would be exactly like experimenting on a Nemoidian bird cage. However, if it's using the architect assembly skills, that could be a problem.
