I am already trying this but the damage typedoes not compliment the damage type of my pets... Doesn't rifle specials only do mind damage? If so what pets do mind damage?

I'm so confused. Please help.

Commandos are the overpowered template du jour.

Nothing beats them. That's why I wont play one...everyone and their mother is a commando.

I too chose rifleman. Just seems to fit.

fsck. the forum ate my ~2 page post detailing the advantages and disadvantages of the more common combos. I'm totaly anoyed and I don't want to retype it, so I'll summarize:

rifleman: good damage at range, mind bleed, good area attack
pistoleer: okay damage at range, health bleed, good area attack
swordsman: awesome damage, mind bleed
TKA: awesome damage, no bleeds, knockdown and dizzy specials are great.

I started with pistoleer. I like it a lot, but I'm giving it up to go swordsman now. pistoleers are by far the most versatile, they have the most damage types, they can operate effectively at any range, they don't have a melee penalty like the rifle.

there is no one best combo, it's just what you like. if you don't know what you like I recommend pistoleer. it's the easiest to get started in, and you can do pretty much anything. I solo everything in the game except for the biggest of the krayts and AT-STs. (at-st is invulnerable to bleeds. it SHOULD be invulnerable to flame dots too, but that's another story)

I don't think it's a noobish question at all. I think it really depends on your style of play. If you like to be on the front lines then, by all means, pistoleer and rifleman are for you. If you like to support others while maintaining group-hunt viability then you may want to explore Bio Engineering. Make them, grow them, train them then use them. Just my two cents worth.

not that bio e isn't cool, 'cause it is, but he was asking about complimentary COMBAT skills, wasn't he? but that reminds me, some medic is really nice to have, unless you want to fork over huge amounts of cash for petstims, you can get more heal out of a lot less money with regular stims, plus you can heal yourself with thm too. I went with pharm 4 and firstaid 3. I can use most stim Ds, and geat heals in the 1000-1500 range from them. and I have enough firstaid to cure bleeders. IMHO it's downright essential.

I have Novice Artsan and Bus III so i can have a vendor to sell loot on.

I want to know, now that I have a vendor stocked and placed in my house, if I drop the Artisan....will I still be able to stock my vendor as long as I don't pick it up?

- First and foremost, I support the S T F U and play theory. I also support the CU and the NGE. I am grateful that we have a game that continues to evolve rather than stagnate. Join the positive voices!

No.

Without the skills to support your vendor and item limit you will not be able to place items on sale.
