I need a good surveying macro for Novice Artisan. If you could either provide the macro, or a link to another page that details the best way to knock out surveying.

Also, does it matter what material I survey and on what planet? Is there a "best" material that is likely always found? Which instrument should I use to do so?

Sorry for all the newbie questions... been playing for 3 months and never had to deal with Artisan until ye old Holocron came into play.

you cant do a survey macro if your trying to find a large percentage of mineral or chem. Because you cant create a macro to walk to a waypoint. I have a sample macro if you want it.

I'll take that sample macro as well as any other advice in getting through Surveying I-IV as quickly as possible. I noticed that I had several points towards it already -- is there another way to earn Surveying? Any crafting I can do instead?

you get serveying xp by sampling only..no other way...and as far as a macro..there are quite a few out there..you just cant afk sample anymore...i sugest doing a serarch in the forams

why cant u afk sample nemore? heres what i usta use, incase it still works:

(note u hafta be in a place and have surveyed a good mineral in that place, also with the last command, change the # to which slot the macro is in )

/sample

/pause <amount of time til u stand up with no action>

/sit

/pause <amount of time til ur action is recharged all the way>

/stand

/ui action toolbarSlot00
