Get novice medic. Buy stim As. Survey over and over healing yourself.

Or, get a medic who needs xp to do it to you. Same diff.

I found that surveying was by far the easiest tree to raise when I was a n00bie artisan. I needed materials, so I surveyed and sampled. I hit 'Surveyor' long before I hit 'Engineer'.

Since I was working on scout at the same time I used to set up a camp and then sample in the camp, the camp regen rate increase adds to the time you can sample. You can also craft while you sample which helps pass the time. Add some stim A's into the mix and you can easily max a camp without having to rest. When the camp expires put up a new one and continue.

Unfortunately you don't get a significant exp bonus for special survey events. If that were the case ppl wouldn't grind.
