Thread: crafting session has ended! failed to craft item!
sometimes I'll be in my crafting tool's menus and just abruptly get booted out with the words "the crafting session has ended!" appearing on screen. other times a box will pop up that says "failed to craft item!" with an OK button under it.
I'm just wondering... **edit** is this? I never remember this happening before, and now it's happening constantly.
This will also sometimes happen if you're macro grinding with practice mode.
I don't know how to use macros to really help me grind, but I AM grinding when it happens. the hoppers are empty.
is there any way to avoid this?
I found when I ran three crafting tools, say the first had a countdown of 9, second one was at 19, and I started the thrid, I'd get to the input resource screen when the first tool got to zero and the crafting session ended.
So I had to time my crafting so that I could hit the assemble button before any tools reached zero on the countdown. When I started doing that, it went fine. You just can't mindlessly grind now, but have to pay attention to the crafting tools. /shrug Hope that helps.
I ran into this problem for the first time last night. It looks like it is related to my finish crafting session - practice macro. I found that I can use2 crafting tools and repeat this bug. I set the first to craft a practice item using my macro, launch the second tool and wait. When the first tool reaches the end of it's cycle, my second session will terminate. However, this bug is NOT repeatable if I create a prototype....so now I've got like 15 bazillion wind power generators. ![]()
My end session macro is:
/nextcraftingstage;
/nextcraftingstage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
Anyways, I seriously hope this gets adressed ASAP. I have filed a /bug report on this and just hope it is not burried under the mounds of other /bugs.
