Thread: Oh it nerves ! Give Master Artisan the chance to choice stats of Weapon Powerups
This is a very mad situation right now. I must try up to 1 hour to craft the right Powerup cause all stats are damned random. If if would like to make several crates of "Hot Wired Coupler of ....." i must spentunnecessary time and ressources till the program is gracious to give me the stats i want. As Master Artisan i think i know what i do, cause i know my handwork. Why in the hell i feel like a trainee who cannot make the powerups with stats of MY choice ?

and so do my friends whose head I bite off after an hour of trying for a specific combination
All I can say is when you find that magic powerup, make a schematic for 1000...
But you know that if they did this then only about 4 types would ever be made.
Maybe give a "target" type to try for, and have your chance of getting that type improve as you near master.

Sorry not true at all, ROFL!!! You just have not found out the secret to doing them yet, seriously. Once you do it gets really easy. Sometime Melee powerups can be a little testy, but even they are not too bad once you learn the secret.
Now try making med packs or pet med and vitality packs, they will drive you nuts as you watch your resources and components go poof as you try to put together a good schematic to run in your factory. GRRRRR. I will agree that the difficulty level could be dropped a little bit, but putting in a menu where you just pick what you want should never happen. The market would get flooded with them and all of a sudden just anyone who is a MA could make them without giving it a second thought. I like the learning curve, it makes people work to get good at it and keeps the market low and allows us who can make then whenever we want in business.

I was going to say, my experience has not been 'random'. It only appears random if you don't pay attention. I get similar results when I use similar resources. I just haven't ever figured out what resource gives me a possible speed modifier!
But I'm too busy making other things to mess with power-ups very often.
