Thread: XP for vehicles...Will we need it?
Anyone know what kind of XP vehicles will drop? I imagine it will be generic crafting XP but the majority of Master Artisans won't need tha XP and I guess it will just stock pile.
Anyone?

As I understand it, they give general XP. This is good for the grind from MA to any elite crafting profession, like DE or Architect.
I know that's what I'm going to use them for.
It was actually pretty smart of the devs to put that schematic at Master Artisan, when you think about it. If it was at Eng IV, you could make one vehicle and be halfway to Master Artisan.
General XP? Do we have general XP in game now? I've never heard of this before. I'd love to use these points under my Architect skill tree if you are right

Some points:
1 - general crafting xp is used to get the NOVICE elite crafters profession (later you need use the specific elite crafter xp to grind the porfession, for example to grind to Master Weaponsmith you need weapon crafting xp, while you need general crafting xp to get Novice Weaponsmith);
2 - itens that give crafting xp (general or specific crafting xp) are crafted to produce xp to grind the profession and later selled at the market;
3 -the market get flooded with these "grinding" itens and the prices go down.
The vehicles give LESS general crafting xp than the resources they use, then they don't are good "grinding" itens to get any novice elite profession (it is better craft personal harversters that give 2 times xp thant the resources they use). As vehicles aren't "grinding" itens, the market don't will be frooded with low priced vehicles and we will have some profit crafting vehicles.

Good point, however, there really is a very minimal market for personal harvs. Vehicles is a way to make money needed to get started as a novice in an elite profession.
