I've recently started becoming a surveyor and am very interested in the business of selling resources. I have been reading a lot about resource shifting and how it requires a lot of time to figure out - Could someone please explain this to me?

Basicly a resource will appear and after a bit it will leave. Usually resources stay for about a week, sometimes more sometimes less. If you try and harvest a resource by hand and it says "concentration too low" even on high numbered percents, then that resource is about to leave.

The galaxies are loaded with a fixed amount of any given resource, once that is all mined the resource dissapears and something else will spawn to take its place. Some resources only spawn on one planet and others will be galaxy wide, just have to search for what you want.
