I can't get get used to this left hand drive business. Could we have right hand drive, so I can keep my insurance costs down. Yes I'm British we drive on the wrong side of the road. We're quirky like that.

Haha! But in Star Wars they drive on the left side of the vehicle.

Actually...I watched ANH the other day, and that's not correct. When Luke was in his speeder he did, in fact, sit on the right hand side. Two scenes jumped out at me - when he hops in after they find the jawas and when they're in Mos Eisley and get stopped by the stormtroopers. In both cases, he's on the right.

So if everyone wants a more "Star Warsy" feel to things, they really should move the driver to the right hand side of the speeder.

When Luke & 3P0 go out to look for R2 Luke is sitting on the left.
However, he does tell 3P0 to "hit the accelerator". So maybe he was driving? There's a scary thought!
You Brits should just get yourself a bike
And where are in the galaxy did you find roads? lol

Some speeders have moveable controls that alow them to be driven from the left or right as needed.
