Just had a simple question hoping someone will answer.

When using a factory to produce items that require sub-components, do they (the sub-components) need to be placed into the hopper as individual items, or can a previously made crate of them be placed inside as the original, fullcrate itself?

(Basically wondering if it's necessary to pull each sub-component item out of it's crate to be placed into the factory, or if it will work by just putting in a whole crate full of, say 50 sub-components. Like, making a run of 50 items, that uses 3 sub-components, wether it matters to put the sub-components in the hopper individually, 50x3 types=150 indvidual(s), vs. 1 crate of 50 each for sub-components' A, B, and C.)

I was hoping it would work that way. With limited hopper space, making large runs would've probabally meant many extra trips to refill if having to place them individually, especially for multi-component items.
