No one needs to repair or even buy new vehicles due to a widely known bug.



Any ideas when this one is getting fixed???

i'm more concerned about my factory crates of 95% experimentationVehicle Deeds all being set at 0% experimentation.

Yet another annoying bug that is persisting way beyond what is reasonable.


Aside from the direct effects of the bug, it has the insidious side-effect of making the development team look inept.

The devs said that the vehical repair exploit was going to be left as is and tolerated until the player city garages went into the game.

As for the 95% experimented crates of vehicals, that bug has been fixed.

darth iguana is correct i had a crat after patch that was fubarred,i took one out the other day after patch and they were returned to normal.so your crate should be ok

If anyone wants an explanation as to why factory crate vehicals crafted during the bug period and pulled after the fix was release are good, read this:

Basically the way the code works, factory crate items are't really crafted UNTIL they are pulled from the crate. It's an interesting way of doing things that can work in our favor (in this circumstance) or against us (as in the case of the thread I link you to).

As for the 95% experimented crates of vehicals, that bug has been fixed.

This is not true. I have over 50 vehicle deeds made before Publish 6. They are still broken if I deed them.


I haven't had Master Artisan since Publish 6 became live. So, I can't be confused about my deeds. I tested them again after I saw they had supposedly fixed the problem.

Even if everyone repaired their vehicles it won't sell more bikes. Vechiles are pretty much a one shot deal. Not quite as bad as a house, but pretty close. It's cheaper for me to repair my vehicle at a garage than buy a new one in most cases.

Well, thing is, I believe you arentsupposed tobe able to repair disabled vehicles.


If the bug was removed, and a vehicle disabled, the owner of the vehicle would need a new vehicle, and by that create atleast a little demand.
