It's been so long since I messed with Artisan.....how do you become a 14pt Artisan? I am familiar with 12 pt professions (and I am a 12pt Artisan)yet I hear people talk about 14pt Artisans. How is this accomplished?
Thanks for any input/insight.

Simple answer: it's not.
Some people mistakingly believe that the +2 artisan crafting bonus, and the +2 points you can get from skill tapes stack.
They do not stack and the maximum experimentation points you can get is 12 no matter what anyone says.

It's possible dude. Here's 2 screen shots I just took:
Humans get +115 experimentation at master artisan. Adding +25 in skill tapes equals +140 experimentation.

Ahhh, thank you very much. And thanks for taking the screen shots. I know some people are confused on this one.
Up till now the 12pts have always been more than enough for me. I normally have 2 pts left over. But with some changes coming in the CU the 14pts could be beneficial.
Luckily my Artisan is Human and so it looks like I just need to add some CA's to get my full bonus working.
Thanks again for the info.

I'll chime in and also say 14 points is possible. Human artisan, +6 in my apron, +10 Gloves, +11 Bando = 14 point artisan with a bit of overkill. No screenshots though, sorry.

Thanks everybody for the input and info.
Amazing what money can do! I added another +20 Artisan Experimentation to the mix and am now a +14 pt Artisan.I am guessing if I decide to continue my powerup business after the CU then being 14pt will be needed in order to make the best.
