Went through the Artisan Foods on TC-EP3 the other day, and thought I'd share my results with those folks who might not be testing. A test foods were created with good (not great) resources, and a 8-10 sucessful experimentation points. You should be able to get a baseline idea of what we can produce from the numbers listed. The first installment is the drinks...

Aitha (7 uses)

fill: 15 duration: 5m

Healing Efficiency +10

observations: This has no effect on stims used by players, my guess would be that it decreases the amount of feeder pool stats used by medics and doctors when using inate bacta abilities

Caf (9 uses)

fill: 15 duration: 54m

Health +102 Mind Regeneration +100

observations: This works, and seems like it should be fairly useful. Can not stack multiple uses of this drink. I am concerned that the wording "Mind Regeneration" does not seem to match the mouseover name for the blue HAM bar (quickness or constitution?), maybe these should be reconciled.

Jaar (1 use)

fill: 61 duration: Instant Effect

Cure Poison Effect

observations: couldn't find a Combat Medic to help me test with these, but it looks like something we can defintely sell, unless Chefs get a better version.

Jawa Beer (6 uses)

fill: 20 duration:15m48s

Mask Scent +10

observations: works well, although the Mask Scent skill is still a little flaky. Does not stack, and will not allow you to use the /maskscent command even if it boosts your Mask Scent skill to the level you get at Exploration II (as expected)

Ruby Bliel (6 uses)

fill: 20 duration:15m24s

Stimpack Roundtime: 30

observations: the skill name seems kind of confusing to me, maybe it should be "Stimpack Recovery"? regularly when you use a Stim-A without novice medic your recovery time before you can uses another stim is 60 seconds. After drinking Ruby Bliel, I noticed one of two scenarios would occur (unsure which is the expected result). Sometimes, I would get a 30 second recovery time after drinking the Bliel and using a Stim-A. At other times, I would see the following sequence: drink Bliel, use Stim-A, no wait timer touse another Stim-A, then get a 30 second recovery time before I could use my third stim. The effect of the drink will clear after using a stim or pair of stims regardless of the duration remaining, many foods act like this on live, so this should be expected.

Spiced Tea (4 uses)

fill: 8 duration: 42m

Mind Regeration +99

observations: appears to work as expected, see effect naming comment with Caf above. I was a little surprised to find that you can NOT stack Caf and Spiced Tea at the same time.

Starshine Surprise (3 uses)

fill: 30 duration: 20m

Incap Recovery: 30

observations: works as it does on live, although the duration seems to have been shortened in the new implementation.

If I get the time, I'll post theother Artisan Foods. Feel free to post yourown results or observations under the Combat Upgrade.

Thanks,

I don't mean to rain on your parade, but we chefs have already started our hostile takeover of the Dom Arts branch.

You can see our latest results in the "New Food Chart" sticky over in the chef forum. And with the (/fingerscrossed) skill trees getting opened up on the frogs tonight, I hope to finish up the food chart soonish.
