Thread: Secret to Power Ups?

Well, I am a master artisan and I just decided one day to make powerups. I use 978 oq fiberplast and 921 oq steel and I still cant get 33/16 power ups, I usually get 31/15 or 32/15. Am I missing something here?

Don't worry about - in a few short weeks those will not exist any more anyway. I wouldn't waste your time trying. The resource requirements changed in the CU as well as the powerup stats.

Well, the mineral counts for 60% of the final stats, so that's your problem. You want that to be as high as possible, preferably 990 or above. But, Ewach is correct. Not only are the resources changing in CU, but the stats, as well. You can increase one attribute, say damage, but you'll worsen something else, such as accuracy or speed, i.e., no more "free bonus." If that functionality isn't changed, powerups are going the way of the enraged dodo once it hits live.
So yeah, don't bother, at least for now.

use resources at 990 oq and above. (ive found that if the average of both resources is 990+, that works too) so a mineral at 998 and a chemical at only 982 will still get you there)....
that will result in 33.16% primary and 16.33% secondary.
tertiary stats and beyond tend to be 8% 4% 2% etc etc....
you might get to 33.5% primary by being in a research center but i havent confirmed this.
ive crafted over 70,000 powerups....maybe more......get 990+OQ stuff......trust me
as for the CU....things will change, so dont make too many right now
