How do resource spawns work?? Are Some planets better for different resources?? Can you eyeball an area to know whether it's worth surveying??

Is there a link or a manual that will answer these and other questions like this? Am I the only lost person when it come to finding information in SWG?

Please help me.... Im not a smart boy

Thx

as far as i can work out. Resouce spawns are totaly random. You can gave a resouce about for a week or more or gone in less than a day. The stats are also totaly random. And each planet is different. You ned to use a sruvey tool to see what is around.

If you've been doing it long enough on the same planets in the same areas you'll start to notice the patterns that emerge as to where those fields will spawn...As to what will spawn, it appears to be a random selection...

Ok all just a question/beef.

Why are the POI's spawning oncea day now. i have found 3 that spawn on a regular cycle and the rest are empty. well not empty if ou get there as soon as the server comes up and are the first one there. I know this non spawning has made my game play much less fun as Cave hunting is my favorite thing to do in game. Please someone tell me why the empty caves? Is there a reason if so please tell me Why??? I have heard rumors that its to slow down jedi exp grind. butthere is still 3 fast spawning POI's and now they are so over camped its silly. I would like to know if it's going to continue to stay with the morning spawn then nothing all day. If so at least i wont waste all the time looking for hunting spots knowing there are none an hour after reset. Thanks for any info.

ive done about 8 /bug reports... Im sick of going to a mission and i attack the lair.. then it disappears. Then it never respawns even when I go to the next wp and come back.. then i get a mission incomplete message...Another is I take a stalker mission,, I get there and its a mokk encampment... WTH... Just wish they would fix the little annoying bugs. Like when you take your bike to a garage and you click on your bike.. the option doesnt come up at first. you have to click your bike again to get the right radial menu.. not that big a deal. just little annoying pet peave of mine.

Spawns are random, but there are 'zones' where a critter is more likely to spawn. But, the key is, spawns are random (ok, ok, there are some staic spans).

If you are referring to static spawns (i.e. the Woolamander Temple), they are on a timer. After the spawn is killed, it takes X minutes for those mobs to respawn. Example: You may hear someone say "the Acklay has spawned," but that just means that it has respawned after the timer counted down from the last time it was killed.

If you are referring to critter resource spawns, take a look at the resource section of www.swgcraft.com.

If I completely misunderstood you, please elaborate as I wasn't quite sure what you were after.
