Hey, I used to be a artisan back in the day, and I finally decided to take it up again. I went to boot up my macro... and yeah... we have a problem. When you go to /sel a schematic, the number you select seems to have absolutely no relevance to what draft you get. I mean, yes, number 2 will always give the same thing, but 1 is a droid battery, 2 is carbosyrup, 3 is a crispic... What order are these things in now? What decides it's number? It's sure as hell not alphabetic, not organized as it used to be by the Control + D draft window, definatly not organized by group...
Maybe it's working off a master list of all the craftable items in the game. Whatever it is, someone should explain this to me, the extra clicking is getting quite tedious.

I think somebody had the bright idea of auto-sorting the inventory and datapad a while back, but I believe you can turn it off ... do that and see if CTRL-D is any more use after logging.

I've remapped all sorts of keys and doubt I have Control-D as a default for anything now. What's the name of the UI window it brings up? I'm not familiar with the draft window (at least by that name) or /sel.

Oh, hahahahah, whoops, I didn't make that too clear. What I meant was the datapad's draft schematic window, brought up by the Control + D and a little bit of creative clicking
. Also, the /sel is just a command that auto-selects that draft schematic once you have your crafting window open. Unfortunatly it goes by numbers, and yeah... That's the current problem.
Oh by the way, turning off the auto re-organization didn't work either... It changed the order of things in my datapad but didn't change the numbers. Thanks for trying though.

Hah, I'm sorry, I take it all back, Kryxal was right. No idea how I missed that the first time around.

The way it's worked for me pre and post CU is this:
Ensure your datapad auto-sorting is off. If it was on when you logged in, you will need to log off and log back in for it to shift into it's unsorted position.
Whatever tool you're using, begin counting the first item that THAT PARTICULAR TOOL can craft as 00. The next will be 01, etc., etc. For example, if you're crafting with a food and chem tool, skip over things like powerups and droid batteries; only count items that the tool is able to make.
Once you get your number, input it in your macro and see what it gives you. If it's not spot on, but you can tell that it's one or two off in either direction, add or subtract from your schematic number until you've got the proper number.
Since turning auto-sorting off, this method has never failed me.
Good luck!

How do I turn the auto sort off? I can't locate it.
Options -> Interface -> untick "Automatically Sort Datapad Contents"
