Thread: Crafters need some loving!!!
Another question might be, "Why assume that you're entitledto be a 'pure' crafter and be able to avoid all critters?"
I'm sympathetic to wanting to play your own game. But why is it somehow wrong that crafters should need a few non-crafting abilities to be able to travel out in the world in relative safety?
Of course, I'd be happier with that point of view if it were also the case that combat players required some non-combat skills to be successful in SWG.... ![]()

Of course opinions are free to be held here - but it's not about entitlement totally, and there is a fine line between forcing players to adopt a style they don't care to - and making it so your choices have consequences...
But on the whole I tend to agree with you and thus far I don't think SOE has gone too far. Sure, you can play a pure crafting character (& I have two!) - but as a result of that - the game can't be so scewed as to remove all danger for you. You have to play smarter AND harder as a crafter type ![]()

well the danger would be going up to your to factory if the spawn is already there...what happened to me yesterday was I was already working on my factory loading stuff into it when a spawn just appears there...I only went to the factory without a combat guildy only cause nothing had spawned there...I think if you are already working on the factory loading stuff/extracting stuff etc...then you should be safe...its like being inside a building...now once the window closes then yes you are fair game...but if that window is open you should have some protection...
