Ive found a nice way to have success with the camo kits. Basically, when i go to empty my factory i can pretty much guarantee that voritors will spawn right on top of it, so i drive up as fast as i can, hop off the bike, then apply the kit. The spawn normally takes a few seconds longer to show up. Now they dont aggro me, but they dont break my camo either. I think it must work like mask scent where it is only tested for breaking when you move across som "scent" range border of the animal. This way you never actually cross the border (until you leave, and youll be going fast enough to get away).

This is on dantooine btw, but i imagine the same technique works elsewhere.
