where is the best place to visit and survey and which samples should i look for .??

FYI: It is more a less a matter of personal preference.


My suggestion would be find a city you like that has a fairly active bazzar economy if you plan to sell goods in the future. Also, figure out what kind of creatures you can handle on your own. Certain areas spawn more aggro mobs than others and its best if you avoid those....it also depends on the planet.


You just really have to get out there and start surveying. Just be aware resources do shift every so many days so your saved 'hotspots' for surveying may not always be'hot'.


If you do want more detail on resources try swgcraft.com website. There's probably a link in the forums to it.


Just get out there and play around. The best way to get versed in surveying and resources is to do it first hand because once you do it enough it will become second nature to you and you'll have a better grasp of the profession than someone who just follows what everyone else says.
