Thread: Master Artisans missing skill mods?

I finally made Master Artisan. I was looking at all the other base professions and noticed that they ALL had some additional skill mods once they attain Master. ALL except the Artisan. Why is that. Should'nt the Master Artisan also get additional skill mods to improve his products. Why would you even want to attain the rank of Master Artisan (and waste the points) if it doesn't increase your chance of success with your skill.

Any thoughts on this?

For one, you get a bunch of schematics that other professions need. So far, I've made some of those electronics doohickies for a weaponsmith, arcitect, and droid engineer.

However, you're probably right. There should be some skill mods.

I agree. You should get experimentation, surveying, clothing customization, and reduced vendor/bazaar fees or something. And how about some food or clothing specs? It's "Master Artisan" not "Master Engineer". Of course we did get the spec for a Nemoidian Bird Cage.

Well . . . you could always put a big flag over your head that says "I spend 6 skill points that will allow me to make useless(?) birdcages!"

In game terms, it says something like "(Master Artisan)". It's like a diploma, it looks pretty on the wall, but doesn't DO much.
