My problem lies in that i cannot sell anything, people will accept my equipment if i give it away for free, but they refuse to buy anything from me at all. Artisan is a profession that the few have the monopoly in and no new players can start in this profession unless they want to wait a few days/weeks untill they can get to the point that people want the equipment. I was assured by a friend that as an artisan i would always have a customer base. He was wrong. It dropped after the first day, on my second day of playing the game i could not sell anything at all. This is very simply wrong. The game was meant to have a player based economy not a player based monopoly. This is the start of my campaign to unify all artisans so as to set a minimum price for our goods! So no new artisans are out of the job as soon as they start! Who else thinks that it would be more fun to get money for getting rid of those pesky items that you build? I think it would be a much more fun and rewarding experience!

I request that all artisans join me in setting prices for our goods, for if we don't we will have to wait until master X. X being whatever elite profession you want to go into. I call not just for weaponsmiths, not just for armorsmiths, not just for architects, or just droid engineers, i call for each and every last artisan to band together and make people actually BUY things from us for a change!

first of all...

ppl don't buy your stuff cause its probably not good enough...dont' make CDEF weapons...no one buys them any more (unless they are very good)if u are a crafter make something worth while for ppl...ask yourself would i buy this if i was so and so...?

search for best materials u can get...that way u can make better quality stuff...i pay arm and a leg for good powerups...but i don't even look at those +3% and +9% junk...(i can make better ones myself..and i am not even on a second box in engineering)

sell minerals!! great money! i bring in about 50k every day from my 8 harvesters...talk to higher lvl crafter...ask them what they need the most..then find a good spot and harvest the heck out of it... i don't even post my minerals on the bazzar...crafters email me with requests...

just go with a flow....if u make something and it doesn't sell..lower the price (it should sell in one day or less..i look for peek hours...from 5pm to about 10pm...if it doesn't sell during that time..it most likely won't sell)...if it doesn't even sell for 20c...forget about it and try selling something else...

ask ppl around u about what they think about your stuff (test market) trying selling your stuff on the street also...ppl will tell u how much they are willing to pay for whatever u are selling...

good luck and don't give up! there are always delivery missions

heh, too bad they nerfed those during beta, but here's the thing, i don't even announce my prices half the time, i just say "Selling d18's for very low prices" and no one comes near me til i begin giving them away for free, even then it's rare to get rid of them, it's absurd that i cant do half the game, i'm not complaining about not having money, just missing out on the SELLING portion of the game

As a beginning crafter, you can make much more $ selling resources than crafted items. Once you have a few harvesters in place, you shouldn't need to run missions any more. Just use half of what the harvestersproduce and sell the other half.

It won't be until you are able to make more interesting items (houses, factories, high-end weapons or armor) that people will pay good prices for your stuff.
