Thread: Power Calculations for harversters
I know I know someone's going to say - this has already been asked and answered but after spending a half hour looking thorugh tons of posts I could not find it.
How do you calculate the amount of time for power on harversters:
If I have 01:63 how many hours does that equate to?
I tested this last night and this is what I found:
I set up a new harvester and deposited 600 power into it and thenI checked the status, it read 0:24 so I assume that is 24 hours since 600 power is what everyone states as the one day power requirement. I then put in another 600 power and checked the status, it read 0:48. I put in 600 more power and now it reads 1:12. I know 1800 power should last for 72 hours or three days so the way I figure it the 1:00 stands for 60 hours and the 0:12 stands for 12 hours which would total 72 hours.
From this I assume the number to the left of the colon shows how many lots of 60 hours you have and the number on the right side of the colon shows how many single hours you have. 2.40 would mean 2 lots of 60 hours so 120 hours plus the 40 hours would be 160 hours total. I could be wrong and I frequently am but this is the only explaination i can find for it.
Hope this helps.
Anyone have another opinion about this?
