Thread: Why can't i sell high price items in the bazzar?
shouldn't try to sell a personal harvester for 5k in the first place
1500 going rate right now...
u could try selling it on the street...just /yell out that u selling harvesters...ppl always looking for them.
I have never been a 'merchant'but i believe that at higher levels, they can 'tie into' the bazaar with sells from their own merchants (which they can price at whatever they like). When you purchace one of the items, it gives you the waypoint to their shop.
Any merchants who can confirm this?

On the contrary, I can confirm that it is not so at the moment. Just look at the skill tree. I got Novice Merchant from the Merchant Exp off my vendor, and am thinking it is a waste of the money I paid the trainer.
My NPC vendor is nicer lookingthan the bulky vending machine, and seems cheaper to pay, but I have heard that they are bugged badly at the moment. Can't say I have seen a problem yet tho. It will take a while for the price difference to justify the 5K training cost.
After training up more skill points and getting a bunch of exp, a merchant will get a 4cr/item discount on bazaar costs -- whoopie!
Being a merchant is fun. Wheeling and dealing, an excuse to tour while looking for bargains, a good reason to have a house of your own, profits to fund whatever else you might want. Good stuff. But you don't get anything beyond Business 3 that really adds to that at the moment. The profession itself is largely useless.
