I think this may be a bug because I have pouches with stuff in them, but I'll be sitting at like, 44/60 and the hopper can't output because my inventory is full. Anyone have any advice or have this happen? I have to keep relogging and when I do I'll come back and it'll be like, 61/66 (%101 full)...

The way the inventory system is set up if you have a backpack and dont have it equiped it will count against your inventory same with pouches. I had this happen to me the other day and just cleaned out my inventory and equiped my backpack and the problem was resolved. The good thing is that my tent that I made showed up as soon as I had room for it. Hopes this helps.

Also, if your inventory was full while you were crafting, there is an item in your crafting tool. Open your inventory, then get the radial menu, and you'll have the option to get the prototype from it.

I suppose its possible the item is so big it needs more space in your inventory that you currently have. The only other thing I can think of is that you have a backpack or similar in your inventory - I dont know the specifics but I have seen mention of a bug where items in a backpack count against your inventory limit but the visual indicator still shows you have space

Good answer, I'm just adding to this...

If you are crafting and your inventory is full the items you create stay in the Crafting Tool's hopper. Simply clear your inventory of garbage and then go to the radial menu for the tool and then hover over "Start Crafting" for a second...

You will see "Get prototype from hopper" or something like that. It'll then dump it to your inventory.
