Hi,

I'm almost done with engineer 4, I have always had my heart set on being an architect, but now i'm not so sure.. I'm in this game to have fun and earn a little cash in the meantime and help people out as much as i can. I want to be an architect because it'd be soo cool to make my own home as well as others .. and furniture etc. But on the other hand, I've heard architect isnt all its cracked up to be.. so now i'm considering weapon or armorsmith..

let me know pros and cons from your personal points of view.. i dont have any experience in architect or any other elite professions so its up to you guys to help me

Most people like to complain that their chosen profession isn't everything they dreamed it would be or call for the nerf of another profession because they are jealous of something they are able to do, and so on.

Best bet would be to try out building things and see how YOU like it. You can always give it up later if you decide you don't like it or need the points for something else.

If you have the time, patience, and the skill points, try them all. Nobody can force you to MASTER it if you want to be more diverse and build houses and make armor and weapons at the same time...

It's all in how YOU want to play your character.

I know, some people will complain about how much time and experience they would have to spend to do more than one and stick with it - but how will you really know until you try it out yourself?

You could also make another character on another server (galaxy) and work him up to see which one you want more and play both if you like both, it's an option.
