Is anyone else having problems with the survey tool from yesterday? (11th). Some of the materials like aluminum are not displaying. Kinda hard to make something with aluminum when you cant mine any. Its not just the aluminums, but some of the other minerals are gone as well. Like oilikt. I had 2 mines working on oilikt, then logged in Thursday morning to find them worthless b/c they couldnt mine anything else (effecively).

I suspect what you are seeing is a 'resource turnover'. Basically all resources are on a 5-8 day timer, after that the resource will vanish and will will be replaced by another of the same class (will be a different type though so will not stack).

However the replacement may not appear immediately or on the same planet - theres a thread by Holocron around somewhere that explains exactly how it works.

That is not entirely true. Tattooine (on Sunrunner) has absolutely NO low grade ores.
